It's been two years since we lost Melissa to Leiomyosarcoma after a two-year fight.  I and my teammates are swimming so that others do not have to go through what Melissa and our family had to endure. All monies raised by this event are going to the Dana-Farber Cancer Center which was so supportive to us and extended Melissa's life far beyond the estimation she was given when first diagnosed.
