I have been swimming for this fundraiser since I was a very young girl. I have had many people in my life who have been affected by this horrible disease. I lost my Pop when I was 4 and since then a few close family friends have also passed away. My Nan, Grandma and Aunt have been diagnosed with this disease and have fought through it. It is my hope that this can become a disease of the past. It has gone on for way too long and we need to find a cure for all types. 

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift.
