Welcome to My Personal Page
Why I swim
First and foremost, I swim in memory of my mother-in-law, Lee Feldstein. She lost her life to lung cancer at age 54, some 38 years ago. She is the reason I met and married my spouse; have two incredible daughters. I owe her a lot, and she never got to know it. I never got to say Thank You.
I swim for Susan who also died way too young from pancreatic cancer, and for Roger and Ilana, and Jimmy.
But I also swim for Emily, who’s doing pretty well Thank God, and for all the other survivors in my life -- for Aunt Karen, Martha, Carol, Linda, Iris, Jamie, Debbie, Alan, Mary, Leslie, Deborah, Mark, Cathy, Karen, and of course the list will go on; because today cancer is just part of our lives.
I swim because I can – It makes me feel like I am doing something to let the ones I love know I care and want to make a difference. The money I raise for Swim Across America will go toward research for future cancer treatments, and also to the agency I so deeply care about: Cancer Support Team.
Swim Across America is one of our largest funders. CST helps individuals who have cancer right now. CST provides essentials services for cancer patients and their families who live in Southern Westchester, at no cost to them. Our nurses explain and educate; the case managers help find solutions for problems with funding, finding equipment or even a ride to treatment. Our counselors listen and comfort. CST provides SUPPORT to patients when they most need it.
Please help me help others. I will do the swimming – you do the donating. Thank you…
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to

Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting!
