Welcome to Susan's SAA Page
Over 1.6 million Americans are diagnosed with cancer every year. Since it’s founding in 1987, SAA charity swims have funded more than $75 million to cancer research. SAA grant researchers have developed multiple FDA approved immunotherapies, gene therapy and personalized therapy treatments. Because of SAA grants, oncologists have been able to conduct research that otherwise wouldn’t have been funded and more families have hope in the fight against cancer.
This year, I'm swimming in recognition of the many CANCER SURVIVORS in my life -- my dad who passed away last year at 92 years survived multiple melanomas; my sisters-in-law; my niece; my brothers-in-law; my girlfriends & guyfriends who have survived breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer, uterine cancer, throat cancer and blood cancer. That's why we swim.
Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will stay close to home and support immunotherapy research at the Swim Across America Laboratory, the research laboratories of Dr. Luis Diaz and the MSK Kids Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, pediatric oncology research at Morgan Columbia University Medical Center and patient services with Cancer Support Team of Mamaroneck. Please join us to make an impact in the fight to find a cure.
Thank you for your generosity and may it help lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check directly to the swimmer you are supporting, or to Swim Across America, P.O. Box 217, Larchmont, NY 10538.
