Swim Across America raises money for cancer research, treatment, and prevention. This will be my fifth year participating in Swim Across America. I have swam, in total, 3 1/2 miles for Swim Across America. This year, I will be adding one more mile to that total.

My swim will be in memory of my Zia Fernanda. She was a wonderful person and changed the world in countless ways. I miss her very much.
