Jane is a thriving 11 year old Leukemia survivor thanks to all of the amazing doctors, science, nurses, research and fundraising from all of you! 

This year's swim marks the 31st year of the Long Island Sound Swim; Making Waves to Fight Cancer. This particular swim was started in honor of Jane's grandmother Kathy Webers who lost her battle to cancer in 1992. That was our first swim and I have been participating ever since. 

This year I swim in honor of my strong 11 year old daughter Jane who is cancer free!!! I swim with a new perspective and to raise money for cancer research so that more families can have positive outcomes like us, a better quality of life during treatment and more time with loved ones! Jane is a typical 11 year old who loves sports and just hanging with her friends and 3 sisters. We are so lucky she is healthy and well! Jane will be swimming this year at the WCC pool swim!
