Friday, July 19th, the swimmers of TEAM HOPE will participate in a 1 mile, a 1/2 mile or best effort swim at the North Hempstead Country Club to "Make Waves to Fight Cancer." TEAM HOPE has raised more than $1.5 million to support cancer research, treatment and prevention! Join us this summer for TEAM HOPE's 21st year.

Proceeds from the swim support research at the Swim Across America Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Swim Across America Laboratory at Weill Cornell Cancer Center, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, the Feinstein Institute of North Shore, the University of Texas MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital and SHARE Cancer Support.

HOW TO JOIN: Click the register button above and get your own fundraising page to send out to your friends and family. All swimmers and volunteers must complete the waiver found here and bring to the event check-in. If you are under 18, please bring the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Interested in volunteering with us on event day? We always need volunteers! Register to volunteer by clicking on "register as an individual" and selecting the volunteer option.
FUNDRAISING: Help TEAM HOPE support Swim Across America and raise money for cutting edge cancer research. We ask participants to raise the following fundraising goals:
- Children (Under 12) - $100
- Teens (13-17) - $250
- Adult (18 or Over) - $500
All swimmers will receive:
- SAA T-Shirt and Swim Cap
- If greater than $250 Raised - SAA Towel
WaveMaker Swimmer: $1,000 minimum:
WaveMakers are elite SAA fundraisers and go above and beyond the call of duty by pledging to raise at least $1,000 regardless of your age. You can sign up for any of the swim distances. WaveMakers get an exclusive WM gift.
