Hudson's Swim Across America Fundraiser | To Fight Cancer !
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that.
Hudson is swimming on July 24th to raise money for Swim Across America at Cold Spring Harbor Beach Club, where he and many of his friends spend their summers together, and his Mama spent hers. All proceeds from his swim will support immunotherapy research at the Swim Across America Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, lung cancer clinical trials at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, pediatric brain cancer research at the Feinstein Institute of North Shore and pediatric oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital.
He is swimming in memory of his great-uncle Peter Hinrichs who died of cancer before Hudson had the opportunity to meet him, and many other extended family members, relatives, and dear friends who have been affected.
It is a meaningful opportunity to teach him about the disease and give him an opportunity to contribute and to make an impact. We are so grateful for the opportunity.
