Welcome to My Personal Page
When I started swimming for Glastonbury swimming at 8 years old, my first coach was Coach Mark Kinne. He was also Liam's coach. Mark was a coaching legend who served for years as the team's Head Coach. He worked with many swimmers during his fight through Multiple Myeloma often from the pool deck with a walker or in a wheelchair. Coach Mark was known statewide by many, and even served as a Connecticut Swimming Zones Coach, where he coached some of Connecticut's finest swimmers at a Championship level. He is remembered by all for his patience, wisdom, and mentorship. Despite battling through illness, his love and passion for the sport of swimming never waivered. Mark coached my mentor and the Head Coach of Glastonbury Swimming, Andy Ahlberg. So, through Andy, Mark's coaching philosophies and his love of the sport are being passed along to me as I develop my skills as a coach.
Please consider donated to Miles for Mark, which I will swim on July 30, 2024. My personal goal is $400.
Please donate by July 29 if you can and forward to any family whose emails I may not have or to anyone who may be interested in donating.
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America, 8508 Park Rd. #389, Charlotte, NC 28210.
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting!
Thank you,
Niall Easton
