The swim team that I coach at Westfield Memorial Pool in Westfield, New Jersey, is partnering with Swim Across America to raise funds for cancer research. In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. In past years, I have directed my efforts toward Leukemia and Lymphoma because of my husband, Trip’s, illness, but this year I am challenging myself by swimming and raising as much money to fight all cancers as I can.
